The urban planning agencies

Metz urban planning agency was created in July 6th, 1974. It is the 18th urban agency to be created in France. Urban agencies creation is regulated by a land law of 1967. Urban agencies appear in a context of reconsideration of the planning patterns from the end of the World War II. This law organizes the creation of this kind of organizations that join the government and local authorities, in particular for the redaction of planning documents.
