The FNAU at the World Urban Forum 10 “Cities of opportunities: connecting culture and innovation”
From the 8 until the 13 of February 2020, the 10th edition of the World Urban Forum 10 (WUF) in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, have welcomed more than 16 000 stakeholders and citizens from all over the world and from all fields of work, all involved or sensitized to the importance of sustainable development for cities and territories and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This 10th edition, that occured every two years, has been carried under the banner of culture and innovation with the theme “Cities of opportunities: connecting culture and innovation”.

The Fnau and urban planning agencies took this occasion to gather, and to exchange with a diversity of actors among the French delegation and foreign delegations, in particular with their foreign counterparts. Four French agencies were represented; APUR (Paris), Institut Paris Region (Ile-de-France), A’Urba (Bordeaux) and Agur (Dunkirk).
As the technical secretary of the PFVT (French Partnership for Cities and Territories), the Fnau has been also in charge of the organization of the French pavilion and the French delegation for this event. The Fnau and the French urban planning agencies took the occasion to expose, during events on the pavilion and in the official program of the WUF, their inspiring practices and unique methods of analysis.
